Sofia went to undergrad at Lewis and Clark College and is originally from various parts of southern New York. She double majored in Environmental Studies and Studio art, with a concentration in sculpture. It took a while for her to realize the link between the two majors was the necessary ability to be able to think creatively, but since then she’s enjoyed coalescing the two areas of study in her senior research. Outside of school Sofia does trapeze and contortion training and volunteers at the Oregon Humane Society. She mostly works in the cattery, but has also taken on other positions such as surgery recovery. Her work with the Oregon Humane Society blends well with the dog walking and pet sitting she does on the side.
